Calley has had only 1 unit of insulin in almost 36 hours and the past two mornings her BG was 97 on 7/9/14 and today is 112 7/10/14. It was 210 last night at 10:30pm. I didn't give her a shot yesterday morning and I won't be giving her one this morning either.

Any possible way Calley's BG is being controlled enough by the wet food that I don't need to do insulin at all? :?

I don't know what to tell the pet sitter....she doesn't know how to test.

Calley is sure going in the direction that insulin may not be required.
It would be nice to have a spreadsheet or at least a listing of the recent BGs so other can see the the whole trend.

I don't know how to do a spreadsheet...but I will try to list out the number for the past three days.

7/7/14 noon 20- no insulin the rest of the day
7/8/14 7am 5 units given
9am Calley vomits BG 264
9:45am BG 114
noon BG 74
2pm BG 112
4:14pm BG 237
7pm(could not get blood) 4 units
7/9/14 8am BG 114 no insulin given
noon BG 262
7pm BG 294
8pm 1 unit insulin given
10:30pm BG 210
7/10/14 7:30am BG 119 no insulin
12:15pm BG 215

This is what I have so far. So it seems I have been giving her way too much insulin when she hasn't needed it after all. :(

With the last reason a little insulin may still be required.I do agree that the initial dose was too high.
Might want to try 1/4 to 1/2 unit if the BGs get to 200
