Have been using Monoject for the last year and we have the caliper dosing number for those.

Ordering from ADW today and saw Trueplus has syringes now. They look very similar to Monojects, but I have never seen them before. Better price and would like to try them, but don’t think this brand for u100 was ever tested for dosing guidance for this syringe?

@Marje and Gracie do you have any info on proper measurements for these Trueplus syringes?

Thanks

See item below, they are $8 less per box than the 31g Monojects...would be nice to find out caliper dosing if anyone else is interested in these.

I’ve been out of the country and just got back. I don’t have any info on these syringes so anyone using them will likely have to start from scratch as detailed in the video. If you do get I do on them, please let me know via PM and I’ll add it to the calipers post so no one else has to reinvent the wheel. Thank you!

I thought there was special testing or equipment you had used to determine the actual syringe specific caliper numbers. I was not aware anyone could come up with those caliper numbers on their own. My order already shipped with Monoject syringes. May try the cheaper Trueplus syringes in the future if a 1 unit number for calipers for those syringes can be determined. The price is great for 31 guage if they are decent syringes.
Thanks.

If you read the Dosing with Calipers post, it tells you how to do it and you do not need anything but the calipers and the syringe.

I read it a year ago, but was under the impression the numbers arrived at came from some special testing methods.

Just looked over and as I thought the initial readings came from using micropipettor. I had not read any further the first time but I see now further down there is a way to determine without this device.

I will probably just stick with the Monojects as I don’t trust any number I would come up with on my own without more advanced measurement methods.
