Need to re-oreder and cannot find where I ordered from last--some canadian pharmacy-
can anyone please remind me of the name ? thanks much!

Marcy, I think all Canadian pharmacies have stopped selling insulin. You might ask your question on Health. Maybe someone there has some suggestions for less expensive sources.

I have not purchased insulin in years. When I adopted Jeddie I still had the remainder of the 5 carts I bought for Beau (who went OTJ in 3 months and after about half a cart). Since then I have gotten donations of insulin from friends, usually a partial pen here and there. When humans use the pens that dose dialing feature can't eject the last 10 units or so, but we can get all of that with a syringe.

I got a bunch of almost used up pens from my ex when I got Cami. I think he said that Costco has the best price on a pack of 5 pens.

If you can remember who it is some pharmacies are still selling to old customers who ordered before the shake-down.

I order from canadadrugsonline.com as it was one of the ones recommended by FDMB.

Yes- that is why I went to Canada for mine. Sneakers was going through a pen a week so that was $250 a month easy. I order by the 3 pack even though she is currently down to a pen every three weeks. I am NOT complaining.

I just got a card in the mail for healthcare alliance called RXrelief to get 75% off of all prescription drugs at the pharmacy. I vauguely remember signing up for it a couple of months ago and I am going to see if I could use it for Sneakers lev pens. All I can do is try, right?

If Canada pulls out it might come down to that.
I get a 5 pack for $170 right now. Still cheaper and worth the hassle to order in bulk through them. Shipping is only $10.

Thanks for the offer! :-D

I just bought Lev from 77CanadaPharmacy.com

The cost was $124 shipped for pens manufactured in Turkey. (allow 2-4 weeks -- mine took about 2.5 weeks)

The current cost of Levemir penfill cartridges manufactured in Canada is $164 and add shipping (looked a couple days ago) (from 77Ca....)

we haven't had to crack into the new supply yet - if there are any problems, I'll come back and post to let you know. Assume NO NEWS = GOOD NEWS since I don't stop by here often. It will be a month or so before we need to start using the new supply. (order early when you have a 2-4 week wait!)

ALSO --- I was a new customer at 77CanadaPharmacy.com, so confirming that they do not have a problem with shipping insulin to new customers.

The insulin was shipped to me from Canada in a really nicely insulated box -- the cardboard box was approx 10" x 9" x 9" with a tightly fitting styrofoam box inside -- essentially a mini-cooler, which had 2 icepacks inside with the box of Lev pens.

and you didn't have any problem getting the pens? my Canadian supply stopped selling them completely and went to the carts.
