It's been a really busy week for us. Just updated Shorty's SS, didn't realize it'd been a 6 days since I had updated it.

He's still doing ok. Still not as energetic as he used to be, but at the same time, he's not hogging the water bowl. Still some larger than normal pee balls in the litter though. And he seems to be putting back on some of the weight he lost before we caught this.

Long time no see! how are you holding up?
I just looked uit Shorty's ss and I find that his numbers are still a little bit high, don't you think?
He's sticking to those pink preshot numbers and not dropping that much in the midcycles.
I would suggest to increase the amount of insulin with 0.25 again. Do you feel comfortable doing that increase?

Sorry... busy work week. Updated the spreadsheet again. We are waiting on the U-100 needles, should be here Monday. We have not been consistent between Kelly and I on what 1.25 is.... But he is starting to be more consistent with yellow preshots. Not dropping enough between yet, though. But he has been a monster these last few days. Conquering boxes.... wrestling with the other kitties... but yet he was so asleep on the back of the couch earlier, that he had drooled all over. For sure, more active these last couple days.

But once the new needles come in, we'll start fine tuning him a little more.

Some nice yellows and occasional blues you've got there! Sounds like he is feeling pretty good these days.

It looks like he may need a slight increase. Looking forward to you getting the new needles so you can fine tune and raise in tiny increments to hopefully get him down! You're doing great!

Yeah, he spent an hour, hour and a half on Wed afternoon, chasing and hunting something in the living room. Spider, fly, dust ball, who knows. But it was like watching a kitten play with a ball. He was hiding under a box, butt and tail wiggling... then pounce... run towards the door, change direction, up the side of the couch, across the back of the couch, down the other arm, onto the desk, hide for a minute, then down to the coffee table, back around to the box, hiding under the box... watching and waiting to pounce on the same spot again....

It's great to hear that Shorty is feeling better. I am with Rachel - an increase should bring down the nadirs and preshots. He has room to drop. What do you think? Be sure you increase on a cycle you can monitor.
