It took awhile, but we did get over the mashed potato fiasco. By the time I got my strips in the mail his numbers were back to yellow, for the most part. Can I get eyes on the ss please, I am thinking he should go up to 8U.
Buster had a vet checkup the other day. Good news, he lost 2 lbs... now 15# 6oz
. Limiting his food intake made a big difference. He is still eating 2 cans Friskies Special Diet per day, instead of 3. I mentioned his litter box issues (as in, he is missing the box by mere inches- :roll
So she checked and expressed his anal glands (sorry tmi)... he seems to be doing a little better with the lb now. He is still drinking and peeing quite a bit, but it's less than it has been since the mashed potato incident. One of the masses in his mouth is ulcerated again, I need to try to get a topical ab on it after meals to see if we can get it to heal up.
Other than that, he is not doing too bad. His fur is nice and having the extra weight off of him is nice too. Right now he is lying under a chair watching my snapping turtle like it might be a fun toy :lol: silly cat.
