Oddly Sprocket seems to have a side effect of alertness while on buprenex.
This happened last year too when he was on it. After I took him off it he slept alot since he didnt sleep much while on it.
Is this normal???
Everything I read says its a sedative.
He is on lantus
dr.goodpet digestive enzymes with probiotics,
Denamarin, ursodiol, famotidine, ondansetron, cyproheptidine, milk thistle and the buprenex. most are compounded meds sugar free.
He has had liver issues so is on liver meds for life.
And he was just diagnosed with lymphoma of the kidney(renal) large cell.
What I have read says antihistamine & bupre will make more drowsy but he is on cypro (not given at same time) and it doesnt make him drowsy.
And now I read he shouldnt have bupre with liver issues and renal failure.
Is there any other pain med he can take that will be ok with diabetes too?
fyi..going to bed now but will respond back when I get up.
Sorry my brain thinks of this stuff before I go to bed.
Thanks
