Bumps on his ears

I have noticed Bert has these little hard bumps on his ears.
I know it has to do with us testing as it is just on the edge where we test.

I rotate ears and spots on his ears.
Anyone else ever experience this?

where on his ears? how long have they been there? If awhile, they might be ear polyps.. here's a picture of a pretty bad case of them.

They start out much smaller than that and expand as well as multiply in some cases.

Ohhh nothing like that

I think it is direct result of poking him for his BG.
They are right along the rim of his ears where we poke for his BG.

It is just like a hard bump under the surface.
Not red or sore or anything. It almost feels like acne that has not come to a head.
It is not a pimple though.

sounds like the pokee bumps along the edges

u use neosporin? helps heal the ears..might help to rotate the poke area, so u dont poke the same spot all the time, and alternate ears sometimes helps too.

I'd check for fleas, mites or food allergies then.

Kathy - Webber has the same thing and I am sure his is from testing. I try to pick a different spot every time but their ears are only so big. :sad:

mocha also has those small bumps on the very edge of her ears. You can't see anything, only feel the slightest bump. I know they are from the pokes.
