I want to improve my first aid supplies for my animals. Is there an antibiotic ointment that is safe to use on pets? I have seen some places say Neosporin is safe but other places say definitely NOT safe for pets (specifically cats), specifically it is not safe if ingested (which to be honest, cats groom by licking so it is definitely possible if not under a bandage AND blocked by like a cone or something similar. So what do others use? I plan to try and ask my vet as well, but given it is the weekend not going to get a response till Tuesday (holiday weekend up here) at the earliest.
