Howie was recently put on Budesonide. He was prescribed 1mL every other day for 2 weeks and then as needed every 24 hrs. However, he doesn’t have diarrhea or vomiting so am not sure what I am looking for to know if he needs it as needed. I also think this is too high of a dose as my critter sitter gives her cat .3mL every day. My biggest concern is that his BG is spiking to the 200s the day he gets it. See my spreadsheet. I was warned he would go higher but didn’t think it would go this high. I can’t imagine this constant spike is good in his kidneys. For those who give Budesonide, what dose and how often do you give it? And how much do you see it impacting BG? Thanks!
