I had a LOT of stressful stuff going on last week and was unable to post. Buddy's consistently high numbers and peeing EVERYWHERE certainly did not help with that stress. Still eating an obscene amount of food but no weight gain. Still scavenging all the time. Fortunately, still negative for ketones.
I am on my 5th increase in 5 weeks and it is difficult to be patient with so many high numbers. There have been days that I thought he will NEVER come back down -- until last night. His PMPS was only 207!!!
Still high but SO much lower than what we've been getting. I was totally doing a happy dance. After that, we got down to 152 and had several hours where he stayed in the BLUE. I have never been so happy to see blue!
His AMPS this morning was a bit higher than I hoped for but I'm wondering if that might be a small bounce from last night. My fingers are crossed and my hopes are high that we are heading in the right direction. If this dose doesn't get it, I think the next one will. Also hoping he spends some more time in the blues tonight although I will be at my son's soccer game and unable to monitor them.
As many of you have told me, patience is so critical in this process. It's so hard with all those high numbers but I'm hoping it pays off in the end!
