Good Morning L, B, & L ~

Late start today. I think the AMPS was a 20% higher number with the +4 being 64. He doesn't move more than 20 -25 points since he's been tightly regulated.

Momma has SIL here today so I am running some errands.

OT: Forrest started my morning off with going outside at 5:30 and coming back with a big blow out at the back end. Always fun to start the day off like that.

Forrest suffers with constipation and getting very backed up. Last vet visit was to get an enema and get him evacuated. The X-ray showed him full to the gills with poop, hard poop causing a blockage. Then soft stuff will get around it making quite a mess. Because he insists on doing his business outside, I don't know if he is moving or not. My only clues are when he vomits a lot, or stops eating, I then know he is backed up and then there is the sign of his blow outs......sigh.

He gets SEB twice a day, 9 Am and 9 Pm. If I cut back on his miralax, he's in trouble. It's a no win situation for the poor guy. And being in Stage II CKD isn't helping. And hypothyroidism.......

Ravan also has stage 2 Kidney disease Are you giving him Calcitriol? It's supposed to slow down the progression of the disease. I also started giving him Renadyl It's a capsule & they told me he needs to swallow the cap to get to his small intestine to be effective.
I do not give pills to my cats so I guess it may not be working for Ravan cause I open the cap & put it in baby food & give it in a syringe.I'm having his blood tested in about 10 weeks & I hope his CKD isn't worse at least

Poor Forrest! Do you know what started the whole thing? Constipation & getting backed up.
