Good Morning L & L ~

Starting off in greens this AM and he did last night also. The 1 unit is doing it for him. :) This morning was a normal poop in the box YEAH and only the one incident of diarrhea the day before yesterday and the large hairball that night. So hoping that he worked it out. :)

He is still eating the baby food and does it enthusiastically without any supplements or EZ Complete. If the latter are added, I have to sprinkle with Florti Flora to get him to eat. We are holding off on the EZ complete for now and only giving the SEB and S. Boulardii. Today I will poach up the ground raw turkey and blend it and see if he'll eat that.

@Susan G & Jimmy G gave me some great suggestions from Foodfurlife and I am ordering the egg yolk powder today and will get both boys on it ASAP in hopes that he won't ever have another hairball. Thank goodness, he only gets these episodes a couple of times a year. If it continues, a definite visit to the vet. Momma was doing her best to handle this at home as I KNOW he doesn't need any more stress. The dental visit and company for 4 days then dog sitting all I believe contributed to him getting his panties in a bunch. He is a sensitive little pirate. :rolleyes:

Bubba a softee????? I don't believe it, fluffy yes but softee..............

Let me know about the egg yolk, I've been considering it.
 
PM = 95 He ate my cooked ground turkey tonight with gusto. I added 1/2 tbsp. of George's Aloe Vera Juice to it and it could not detect it in it. YEAH! Going without EZ Complete for a few days and then I will reintroduce it as per Carolina at FoodFurLife. She thinks because he is eating baby food and cooked ground turkey with out any thing added to it that he is nauseous and as we know, cats have very keen senses of smell and anything in his food is turning him off.

I can not say enough nice things about the FoodFurLife company, OMG, Carolina spent 34 minutes on the phone with me helping me trouble shoot to get Bubba back on his raw diet again and things that can help in the interim. 5 Stars for this company!

Trying very much not to panic LOL
I am going to look up evacuation things tonight in case its needed. I havent even taken the cat carrier out of my car yet, so its ready to go. Hope it doesn't come to that. Im in northern FL, but still fairly close to the edge. I think we'll know more tomorrow about how the projections will really go.
I just worry about southern FL and those poor islands who will be hammered either way =(

Oh good, I was thinking you were in ST. Augustine. Please get out of Dodge ASAP if it looks like you need too. Did you see the post today from Adrian and Chico? Lots of good information of what to pack if you need to evacuate.

Im not that far from St A, but i think more inland. I am definitely paying attention to the news and such. I just told my grandma that I will clean out my truck so we can get out of here if we are told. I still have the cat carrier in there from the weekend. I also still have that kitty Valium from our drive down ;)
I want to be prepared, but I don't want to stress myself out and have anxiety attacks. Its a thin line. :confused:

Just look over the list and be prepared. No anxiety if you are prepared......

Just seeing this! Isn't she amazing!!!!! Glad her tips and techniques are proving successful with Bubba.

For the egg yolk - don't be surprised if you get one or two more coming up. It's the EY doing its job. Imagine without it how long it would be sitting in his belly. When I first started Marley on it she vomited a hairball but since then all is well.
