Good Morning L, B, & L~

It's been a while; I have been really busy the last couple of weeks. All good though.

Bubba went back to the Vet's on Tuesday and still lots of gunk in his ears. She put him on a non steroidal Flush, and then a liquid anti fungal and bacterial solution. As of yesterday, he still has gunk ( haven't cleaned yet today) He could be on it for up to 2 weeks. Needless to say, he is getting quite annoyed with this regime since prior to me taking him to the Vet's , I did Zymox for 28 days... Fingers and Paw crossed this kicks it.

The good news is that he hasn't had insulin since 9/12. I have been reluctant to even put it in print... Fingers and Paws crossed for a continued OTJ.

I need to catch up with everyone and hope everyone is doing well.

Go go go Bubba!! While you work on those ears, he will work his pancreas for you!
That's funny you didn't want to put the OTJ news in print. As long as you don't let Bubba read any of this, you should be good:)

Sorry to hear Bubba's ears are still giving you and him grief but delighted to hear the other news. Fingers crossed the new treatment solves the problem. Quietly cheering Bubba on so as not to jinx his progress! You got it this time Bubba!:D

When I read the title, I thought how did I miss this!!!!!

I'm beginning to think funky ears are just "normal" for some. Tripper has had them for years and now Ollie. Smokey also. Nothing worked 100%. I just do drops every other month and clean them. I've read it can be food allergy that causes it. But I don't know. I think I'm going to ask vet to do a culture on next visit.

I’ve read the same. And diabetes is a contributing factor to yeast infections, too. I will stay on top of from now. I said that 6 months ago and was AWOL.
