Without addressing his dental issues, BK would never have gone OTJ.
Five months after his first dental (and a long free fall down the dosing ladder) BGs started creeping back up - although it was only 5 months since his first dental, BKs mouth needed further attention.
After that second dental, it was straight to the falls, where he remained until he crossed, 6.5 years.

Bubba is home post dental 5.5 hours after I dropped him off. All that was required was a cleaning! Yeah! He wanted to eat ASAP and we're not supposed to do that........but after 20 minutes of being home and finally walking a straight line and then jumping up on top of the cat buffet, I caved in and gave him 1.5 ounces of food. He is presently laying under the buffet waiting for more.

Let's hope the dental helps to bring his numbers down under 100. At the vets today right before the procedure he measured 280 but the vet said he see un diabetic cats that high with "white coat " stress. I won't even attempt to test him for a few days and let the dust settle and we are having overnight company starting tonight until Saturday afternoon.

Thanks for all the great vines and messages of support. Y'all are the best!!! :bighug:
So glad for you and Bubba that all went so well. Hope you have a wonderful visit, and I'm praying for a good BG when you do test. :bighug:

Wow, I don't know how I missed this yesterday, Bobbie. I'm so glad Bubba had an easy dental, here's hoping Forrest's goes as well! Prayers that Bubba's numbers come back down, now. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hey Bobbie , thinking ab you and sweet Bubbs today :bighug:. Hope you have fun with your company and that Bubba returns to the Falls in a flurry of greens :bighug:

Glad Bubba settled in at home quick, hungry kitty after dental in my mind is good. Hope it helps with the numbers, I will be watching to see, as I probably need to do the same soon.
