Happy Caturday!

I think Bubba has a ear yeast infection again. One ear looked a bit dirty so I started back with the garlic oil a few days ago. After cleaning last night they both looked red and I thought I rubbed to hard with the tissue. This morning they are both red. Hmmm. Hope a vet visit wont be necessary .

Yes, I clean with garlic oil. And you can use the garlic oil to cure a yeast infection. That’s what I did in December when he had one. Started off with the enzymatic cleaner , can’t remember the name, but it had steroids in it and raised his BGs so I switched to the garlic oil on my homeopath’s recommendation and it did the trick.

Any garlic oil or a specific one? Need more info on this would like to try it.

I use a good quality olive oil that I buy from a Texas olive vineyard. I know it’s pure olive oil. 1/8 c of olive oil and add 1 clove of garlic crushed up. Let it set for at least 3 -4 hours. Then strain out the garlic and discard it. I then put the garlic infused oil into a dark small bottle with an eye dropper and refrigerate. One drop into ear and gently massage the bottom of the ear where the ear canal is. Do for at least a week for a yeast infection.

Occasionally do the same as above to clean the ear and prevent a yeast infection. That’s where I went wrong. I stopped doing it. :(

You make your own. I saw commercial garlic oil drops for pets on line.

I have extra virgin olive oil, robust and chopped garlic I buy in store do you think it will be okay?

Yep! As long as you think the olive oil is pure olive oil. Now a days it’s being added to vegetable oil and sold as EVOO.
