Good Morning L & L ~

Something is really wrong with my boy. Ever since his brief outside adventure, his numbers have been going steadily up. He is eating but not with his regular gusto and at the +3.25 feeding this AM I had to sprinkle floritflora on it for him to eat. No diarrhea, no vomiting. He is back to every other day pooping.

@Carol & Dante suggested on my last thread maybe it was the heat that got to him but, I would think by now he'd be over that. It turned really cool last night and all the window are closed.

Someone else suggested maybe something bit or stung him but, then again, I would think 2 and almost 1/2 days later he wouldn't be still be reacting.

Tomorrow will be a vetty appointment. Get some BW and check out his teeth. It's only been since August that he had a dental , but you never know........my $$ is on his mouth.........

Vines to all Beans and Kitties in need.

It was last August that Boomer had his dental and by the time April rolled around there was enough inflammation that he needed another (and his numbers had gone up as well).
Sending some feel-better vines to Bubba! And :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: to you Bobbie!

Would not surprise me. My civvie had a dental in November and I swear he could use another. When he yawns I can see the tartar build up and he has horrid morning breath. I thought it was odd but I'm seeing that its not uncommon that a teeth cleaning is needed sooner than some. I wish I had trained them when they were kittens to get their teeth brushed. Had I only known then how important clean teeth were and the havoc it can cause especially with FD in the mix.

Vetty vines for your boy tomorrow:bighug:

I now brush his teeth every day. I didn't think I'd be able to do it but he really doesn't mind it. I use one of the rubber toothbrushes that slip on the finger. If it keeps the inflammation and therefore his levels down and saves us $500-$1000 dental fees every 6 months I'm happy to do it lol.
On Chewy now...do you use any of the "toothpastes"?

Glad he's going to the vet. Hugs and vines Bobbie!

I've been very remiss as Bubba fights me and bites me.

Oh no Bubbs...feel better buddy. I brush Leo's teeth every day too using an infant tooth brush. Sadly he's going back to the dentist Tuesday as his gums are red again. Pretty sure we're heading toward full mouth extractions. His last cleaning was in January and they took 7 teeth :( Luckily my alley cat Moo is in good shape because she'd kill me if I even thought about brushing hers.

Aish - our babies never give us a dull moment! Say, if you happen to think of it while at the vet tomorrow, just for the heck of it, have them listen to his heart- I know, I know, I'll stop now! :):cat: :)

I will, and they usually do. It has been remarked before that he had a murmur and then listening again they said no, that it was probably vet stress.

Poor Leo. A friend of mine, her cat had stomatitis also and had full mouth extractions eventually and could still eat with no problem!

Aha, good, thank you, whew!!! I hope tomorrow resolves the issue; Bubba, ya' gotta' start eating, come on now!
He is eating, just not with his normal oomp. Usually, as soon as I place the saucers on the counter he comes running. I have had to go get him a few times. And I have had to use Flortiflora as a sprinkle topper several times in the last few days.
