We are back from vacation as of 2 Am or +8 last night's cycle. Bubba continues to be stuck in yellow despite pet sitter raising his vaca dose from .75 to 1 unit on 2.28. He could have been constipated while we were gone as Pet sitter, Matt, said not enough poop in the box for 2 cats each day. When we returned last night @ +8 Pm cycle, there was diarrhea in the box, not sure who did it. ( no dirty bum on either boy ) Today, Bubba had an incident of trying to hack up a fur ball with nothing more than a bit of liquid. Good since, eating well, purring and urinating.

I am thinking that in 5 more hours from now or Bubba's +8 PM cycle will be 24 hours since we returned. If he has not come down ( he has been flat for 2 cycles ) I will raise him up again. I think 24 hours is a good measure of time to regain numbers if this is all about stress.

:blackeye: Momma needed this vacation badly, but feeling bad that he lost regulation. It is what it is......o_O

I will catch up with everyone tomorrow. Today's been busy getting back in the saddle of life since we returned.

Vines to all Beans and Kitties in need.

@Carol & Dante , thanks for your sweet post on our last thread. I am a bit the same way when I am away, wanting photos and videos of the guys. Matt, our pet sitter, sent me the cutest video of the boys mid week and my heart melted. I think next time, I will call and have him hold the receiver to them so they can hear my voice like you do! Oh, what we do for this kitties.

Meantime, I got my two doggies from our friend's house today and all the fur babies are home. My mom comes back tomorrow. Then it is back in the saddle for me!

Bobbie; sorry for the tardiness in my response; I logged in here a few times since Sunday; checked, but didn't see my alerts...hmmm she says...

Yes, at first, when I started calling home, the cats would look everywhere, then got smart and found the source of my voice and just sit and listen to me!

It started in my early 20's when a cat who adopted me would knock the phone off the hook every time it rang! I would come home from work and the phone was off the hook, hmm... After a few days of this, I started calling home and could hear 'Lenny' knock the phone off the hook and hear him breathing into the phone...hilarious!!! Naturally, I just started talking to him...AND he 'meowed' back to me! Hah, this quickly became a daily routine, so while on vacation, if my friends/pet sitter picked the phone up, they knew to put Lenny on so we could have our 'conversation', much to my friend's/sitter's amazement! Lenny would literally stop crying after our conversations...until the next morning (as I was still not home). Since Lenny, I no longer have landlines, but still call the sitter's cell phone so other cats who have adopted us can listen on the speakerphone! Yes, what we do for our cats...!!!

Hmm, tell Bubba to get back in the groove; he just needs to calm down and stop worrying that you will go on vacation again-so tell him this, show him - in your mind - that he will be waking up with you every morning, he'll see the pictures in your mind...all animals can do this.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday, Bobbie! Bubba looks like things are getting better since y0u're home now: no more yellows. That's great! :-)
