Does anyone know how I can get more than a number in a cell? It won't let me add the meal I gave like I could do on 2016 If I write more than the number it takes up 3 cells.

Happy New Year. I was awake, but never heard fireworks AND missed the count down. Something I always watched. Course it isn't as good as it was 25+ years ago.

Bobbie, make sure "wrap is on" and I use to keep spacing until it wrapped.

Happy New Year Bobbie!!

I noticed not all of the cells had the text wrap formatted. I just went through and selected the columns and did what Paula said. Highlight the column, go to format, text wrapping, wrap.

Okay, got it to work. I had the wrap on but didn't have the cell highlighted. Think it's good to go now. Thx.

Happy New Year - how do you accurately go down from 0.5 to 0.4? Not that I'll ever be in that situation with Murphy, but I'm curious none the less

With calipers. My measurement on them for .50 was 250 so I make it 240. It's such a tiny decrease probably a drop less. I will keep reducing it by a drop to help him stay in better numbers. If he can keep up the good work, it will take a while to have him on nothing.

The calipers help with a consistent dose, even if it is 1.27u.. it is close to the same each time. We all know how "accurate" the lines are on the syringes, especially at smaller doses.

Keep working those greens and little reductions Bubba, small steps are still steps in the right direction.

many times the top of the insulin is not in a straight line - there is no bubble but it just lines up crooked - it's lower in one part of the syringe - would you measure from the highest or lowest point?

Hmmm... I use the monoject syringes and they have a little hub on top. I just make sure the syringe I am using has the needle going all the way down out of the hub and then measure from the needle.

I pretty much do the same as Amanda and ignore the zero line and I just make sure the insulin goes past the zero line up into the hub of the syringe without bubbles. Hope this photo shows you what I mean.

There is still a drop of insulin left in the syringe when you pull the needle out of the skin unless you keep the plunger pushed in while you are pulling the needle out. That way I know Bubba got every drop of the insulin. A drop makes a big difference when you get down to micro dosing.

Wow, I did not know that! That is great info..and guessing variation in if you do or don't do it the same way consistently may affect dose and consequently numbers too!
Thanks for pointing that out for folks Bobbie!:bookworm::):bighug:

Happy New Year!
I'm with you regarding sticking with my 2016 SS for a bit. I want to be able to see all the patterns at a glance if possible.
Thanks for all the info and support I received from you and Bubba in 2016
Bubba is quite an inspiration. Hoping Uncle and I can maintain his membership in the micro-dosing club!

You are so welcome and I hope that Uncle maintains too! Happy New Year Barbara!

I use calipers and I don't see how they are THAT accurate
I promise they are if you are using them correctly. You can dose down to 0.05u using the calipers. I ran several days worth of tests using several insulin syringes. If you have any questions, please tag me.
