Autumn continues to be just fantastic (ya I know I need to update her SS) although we are back on a higher dose again (1u atm) because the princess as decided that she no longer likes anything that is good for her and wants what all the other kitties are eating so she is back on the Friskies band wagon and with its rice her numbers of course went back up so I've just adjusted her insulin to handle the extra carbs and grains.

Haven't been around too much as I have been up to my eyeballs in stitchery project foolish me decided to make a handmade quilt for a friend's baby shower which somehow landed me with about 20 other projects from various folks that wanted to order early for Christmas.

And of course since we finally paid off the vet bill the cats felt we didn't give the vetty beans enough of our money so last night Arabella was laying on the diningroom floor watching the ceiling fan when she had what we think was a seizure, she went very stiff and started making strange jerking movements and when I picked her up the pupils in her eyes were shaking side to side, so right now she is in the hands of our very wise and knowledgable vetty bean so they can figure out what her problem is...really hoping she just made herself dizzy watching the tassel on the ceiling fan...CATS!!!!!

Yikes. Any news yet on what it was?

The Friskies seem to do that to Chip too but on the plus side he only eats them when he's running low. Then of course someone sneaks in and steals his FF.

BTW I found the Friskies Special Diet at the feed store for about the same price with ample supply. Saves all that gas going to the pet stores.

My goodness Mel, I didn't want to laugh, but the way you wrote it, I had to choke it back. I had a mental picture of a cartoon cat watching a fan and................well, you know.

I sure hope everything is ok, that would have scared me to death. :o Keep us posted when you can.

I know you're busy, but it'll sure be nice to have that extra money for Christmas. Will you still be selling stuff like you were, online? The catnip toys and such?

We miss you girl! Glad when you have time to hang out again. :YMHUG:

Oh no... poor Arabella. I hope she's okay.

I have to admit that I too, like Debbie, ashamedly giggled at your description of her seizure or tassle watching. But I really do hope she comes back to you from the vetty in good health.

Headbutts galore for you and your petting zoo.

Just picked her up....Well add more meds to the list of the Dickerson family household...I am now the proud owner of an epileptic (sp?) Or at least that is what we are going with since the little brat wouldn't repeat her performance for the vetty bean. But they ruled out anything else so now I have a bottle of phenol barb and instructions on what to do if she does it again...Oh yeah and no more ceiling fan watching for her...lol

Wow! Ya know, the fan could have triggered it.

Late daughter in law would have seizures occasionally and they would be triggered by something moving, like a strobe light or even those fiber optic fake Christmas trees would do it. Regular Christmas lights, even the blinking ones didn't bother her, just the fiber optics. They never knew what caused it, but the same things could trigger migraine headaches for her too. She had a short circuit somewhere. @-) She had a gran mal (sp) seizure in a Waffle House once, Drs in the ER could never figure out what caused it.

Hope your baby does fine. cat_pet_icon At least you know what it ISN'T. :thumbup

Well that's *probably* good news.

Just don't let her stare at the fan tassle, or that bug that circles around and around inside the light fixture, or ...

I just read about the exciting news in health, guess perhaps it's good Tara volunteered you for that one if it works out? :-D

Don't know how you do it. Helen (and Rosie) somewhere over in Asia has 21 torties in an apt in the city. She put everyone on canned food and complained she needed to hire a full time staff just to spend all day opening the cans, hauling the cases in and all the empties out. I know that feeling.

Would love to see some of your quilts...
Come back soon, Cedric needs your eyes on his sheet, as he has cjleo a bit stumped....

SHHHHHH Dale! Now no letting the cat out of the bag until I have all the details in place but to give everyone a slight hint...There maybe some additions to my signature line. Nothing is set in stone yet
