BCP PZI comes in two formulas, as you know. we started on the u40 formula last week.
I'm beginning to suspect mrbee is going to need the u100 formula of the BCP PZI insulin at some point. we are already up to 4 units on u40. we use the u100 syringes, so its 10u on u100 syringe and its starting to feel like a ton of liquid every shot.
i'm trying to figure out if/when we get the u100 formula, how do I figure out the conversion to dose? its the same as the u40 to u100 syringe conversion, but backwards. is that right? so for example at current dose of 10u on u100 syringe of u40 formula, if we switched to the u100 formula it would be 4u on the u100 syringe. right? head hurt yet?
thanks!
