Boy...Question about switch to U100's.

I'm about to head up to my Rite Aid to grab a bag of 10 U100 syringes (until I can exchange my whole box of U40's at the vet) and started going over the conversion chart again. Since Boy has been on 0.25u/U40, and the conversion is either 0.2=0.5 and 04.=1.0, how do I convert the 0.25u?

I would guess it would be just like doing a "fat" 2.0u. When I changed needles, I typically just used the .2 unit increments & called it good.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe they'll even have some syringes with half-scale markings to make it a little bit easier. It will still be easier than using the U40's though!

You have to get the ones with the half unit markings or else it will be even harder to microdose.

The half unit markings will rock your world.

Actually, I did get the half-scale unit marking syringe as well as finding both a formula for conversion [U40 units x 2.5= U100 units]; pictures, and a conversion table that listed some half doses. etc. After looking at the U100's those half unit marks are really, really great!! There still isn't an "exact" marking to equal 0.6u/U100....so a "fat" 0.5u should work!
