I was quite proud of Ruby's sugars yesterday. Ruby is his nickname..don't ask lol.. anyway can someone take a gander at the spreadsheet and tell me if this is what a bounce looks like? thanks
I think I read somewhere where it said to keep them on the same dose for several cycles. I figured I would like him on the 1.5 for atleast a few more cycles to see how he does? B/c if I go back up to 2 again I will be back to square one again? I dunno....
That is correct but what I can’t figure out is why you went from 2 to one and skipped. I think what you are seeing is not a bounce but rather all the different dosing and the skipped shot then means the depot needs to build. Now that you have settled into a dose you keep it for a week and then do a curve.
When an increase is needed you will increase another .25 rather than .50.
That is what I am having a hard time seeing. How exactly do you measure 1.75 on an insulin syringe to get the exact dose? I have to hold it up to the light to see the half marks even...lol . I think I am just still kind of gun shy to the low numbers yet since today makes only a week since I started this journey.
I used a magnifying glass. Some use two pair of over the counter magnifying glasses wearing them on top of each other. I also used digital calipers. You can take a used syringe and practice with water and a few drops of food coloring and count the drops.
