Bouncing?

Could this be what y'all call bouncing? Senna's numbers are a bit wacky today. I'm pretty sure his AM shot was wet. So he probably didn't get much if any insulin. But, his numbers started falling, then shooting up. His SS is updated. I gave him 1u about 15 minutes ago for his PM shot. Thoughts?

Could be a bounce as the numbers today were lower than yesterdays. Or if the shot was at least partly a fur shot this am, the dose may have been too little and just wore out.

The other thing you can do if you get a strange number is to retest, to make sure it wasn't a fluke or a bad strip.

Regardless, he is doing well.

When numbers are up like that, should food be withheld for a bit? Senna threw up about half an hour after eating. I ask because my dad would vomit when his numbers were up.

I would not withhold food but try feeding less at a time.

Sometimes, if you smear the food over the face of a large plate, they eat slower and this lessens the chance of vomiting.
