So my question is for those with more experience than we do... do you think his current dose is too high?
Remus gave us a bit of a scare last night with a 54 +4 on an Alpha Trax. As you will see from his numbers this is not at all normal and may have been due to starting to transition on to some new food. I really don't like the MD and have been mixing it with FF for some time with no issues. Last night we mixed the MD with some DM.
We also went to see an IM specialist yesterday to make sure there is no underlying cause for his bouncy numbers. Our hope is that they will rule out any other factors and give us a little bit of guidance.
If my husband is away Remus is on his down during the day and so we cannot guarantee any daytime testing during the week, this means we have no idea what he is actually doing and his numbers at weekends seem to be all over the place. Bouncing?
