? Bounce or something else

I think this is a bounce. Not very many test for the holiday. I have just increase his dose from 1.5 to 1.75. Yesterday morning I measured wrong and gave 2 units. I did see my first blue at 190 which was exciting but this afternoon 3 hours before shot time we are at 564. Going to hold at 1.75 I think this is a bounce from the first number below 200. Anyone agree?

So testing at +2 he has gone down from 559 to 494 still quite high. I'm just not understanding how we had a reading yesterday of 190 which I was so happy to see to what today has been.

Some of what you were seeing after that 190 reading was probably bouncing. You've increased the dose to 2u and it appears Teal'c's BG has gone up rather than down. I'd back up to 1.75u again, get what tests you can and see if numbers improve at all. Hold the doses for at least 6 cycles. If you get another blue number holding for a few more cycles to see if BG comes down even more. Don't be tempted to increase dose just because pre-shot is higher than expected or usual. With doses changing all the time, it just slows you down finding the best dose for Teal'c.

Thank you I dropped back to the 1.75 and he dropped to 442 which isn't great but better than the 500's I have been seeing. I plan on setting an alarm tomorrow so I can check him through the day. What times would be best to check him? Like maybe +3 & +6?
