So last night, Mr Budsman tested at 216 before his PM shot - we gave him the 2 units. His +3 number was 106. We also gave him his last dose of prednisolone.
Worrying he would go down further, I gave him a tablespoon of squarepet (9% carbs) at his +4 and again at +8 (that was the fee for disturbing him after bed time).
I am not yet able to test alone (I’m working on it and was almost successful) that’s why I didn’t just test overnight.
Naturally this morning his number was awful at 520! He has been this high before. I suspect it is the steroid. Wondering if it could be a bounce. Could a 9% carb treat do that too?
