Got an abnormally low reading tonight, lowest we've ever had from him. Not sure if I maybe misdosed or something because this is crazy! Just gave him HC plus a tiny bit of corn syrup after this reading at +3.

Kinda freaking out here. About to check him again. Behavior seems TOTALLY normal which is unnerving.

I am glad you added the syrup. That was my go to for below 40. Neko once hit the upper 20's, no signs. It's always unnerving when they give no clue.

Up now Boots. Congrats on the reduction.

Ok. 40 now about 20 minutes after first low reading. Did an alphatrak along side to compare and that clocked in at 69, fwiw. Will check again in 20. Arghhh!

Should I add syrup again next check if it's still low? Just did a tiny bit before, maybe 1/4 tsp or so. Never had to give him karo so not sure what a good amount is for him.

Ok. Think we are good here now, but will keep close watch next 24 hours.

.25 reduction in AM for sure.

Thanks for the help, everyone! He's been so (thankfully!) steady/predictable for so long, this threw us for a loop!

This is not your first rodeo, so I'm sure you know this, but just wanted to remind you that you need two tests with BG rising without food influence to be safe. If you haven't fed anything in the last hour, test now and again in another hour, without feeding, and you'll be good to go.

ETA: Can you please remove the 911 from your subject line, now that the crisis has passed? Thanks.
