Carl & Polly & Bob (GA)

Wow, 20 hours in the yellows. I'll take it.

He seems a little better this morning. He's more responsive and less zombie-like. The first dose of cypro didn't do anything, so we'll try again today.

On my way to Wally world for strips, and going to pick up what I need for the Liver Shake. Will check back later.

Thank you all for your tips, thoughts and prayers. They are helping. :YMHUG:

Bob says he loves you

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

I'm glad Bob is better today and more responsive. Continuing to send prayers for you and Bob.

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

So glad for better numbers anyway. Hope the meds start helping. Can't wait to hear how the liver shake goes over.

Did you report on the vet visit yesterday..didn't see it if you did. So glad he seems to be doing at least a little better today.
All those hopeful signs help. Hoping he continues to improve and improve. Thinking about you and continuing to send positive thoughts.

..and we love Bob back!

Sending lots of "feel better" vines. I'm hoping better numbers are also contributing to Bob's feeling less punky.

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

Glad to see that Bob is feeling better this morning. Sending white light and lots of eating vines!

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

I am glad to hear that you see some improvement with Bob. We pray for continued improvement.

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

Those are much better numbers for Bob already! Papaya was barely eating by the time I first got her on insulin, but her appetite picked up quickly as her blood sugar came down, so I hope Bob's will as well.

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

happy to hear bob is improving!
i don't want to hound you because i know you know what needs to be done, but have to ask... have you been able to check again for ketones?

if you want to rethink the use of R, Wally World has Novolin R for about $25 (Humulin R costs closer to $90 these days). it's a great tool to have on hand for those of us who have kitties who are prone to developing ketones.

sending positive thoughts and healing vines...

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

Nothing higher than trace but I haven't caught him peeing since 2 days ago...

Just tried the liver shake. He took it from the syringe but not off the dish. But he didn't seem to mind the recipe or flavor compared to the stuff I was giving him before.

Re: Bob - 11/7 PMPS 232, AMPS 285

awesome. at least you're able to get the liver shake into him!
good luck catching him pee! knowing where you're at with the ketone issue will be helpful...
