Zoey has been doing well... haven't had time to post her new spreadsheet into my signature yet. I am going on a job interview next month with my family for 2-3 days. Normally, we have our inlaws watch both cats and they test Zoey and give her insulin. They are out of the country for that period. What has your experience been boarding your kitty with the vet? Last time we had her in for a curve (before we started testing her ourselves) she was so upset she wouldn't eat and they had to let her out and walk around the Vet.

Not eating a typical problem when boarding. I would get a pet sitter to come and test, feed and shoot at yuor home.

Check with the vet techs to see if they would be interested in taking care of her in your home. Many of them will do that or offer to take care of her in their home. If you do have to board her, write out very detailed instructions for the vets office to follow, including testing before every shot with her meter. This way you have a record to verify they followed your instructions.

Where do you live? City & state only. We may have a member nearby that also may be able to help care for her.

We are living in suburb of Chicago. We are thinking about boarding the our other cat, not sure if they board them in the same cage or not.... We still have a month or so to decide.
