I took my sweet Bluebird and let him fly free. I’ll miss his hugs, the soft spot on his ear that I’d rub and he’d fall asleep, his running room to room and drinking out of each faucet, and his tipping everything off my bedside and coffee table. He was a true meezer and talked to me all the time.
I want to thank so many here that directed me so patiently as I learned about feline diabetes. He did go into remission but it wasn’t long until he was diagnosed with lymphoma and it developed into leukemia. The treatments were hard for Blue but he was a trooper. Today as I heard him whining I knew it was time. I’d never want him to be in pain and his cry’s sounded like pain. He went peacefully in my arms. I miss him so.
