Hello everyone,

I am new here, and just completed a 2 day blood glucose curve on my newly diagnosed sugar baby. We have been having difficulty with her dosage prescribed by the vet, and have only just been able to get the hang of things. My question is around her results, and wanting to get someone in the know to interpret these for us.

Hi and welcome to the site:). I don't have enough experience to help you with dosing advice. But to help those that can help you it would be great if you fill out some information about your kitty in your signature.

On your profile, click on Signature. This is where you will put information that helps us give you feedback. There is a limit of two lines which may include two links; you may separate pieces with commas, dashes, | etc. This is where you paste the link for your spreadsheet, once it is set up.Add info we need to help you:
Caregiver & kitty's name
DX: Date
Name of Insulin (do not include dose or frequency
Name of your meterDiet: "LC wet" or "dry food" or "combo"
Dosing: TR or SLGS or Custom (if applicable)
DKA or other recent health issue (if applicable)Acro, IAA, or Cushings (if applicable)
Spreadsheet link. Please put the signature link on the bottom line of your signature information, on its own, so it is easy to find. Please do not put any information about your location in the signature for security reasons. If you wish to add your country location, please add it to your profile.Be sure to click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom. If you need help urgently it is important we know these things at a glance. We don’t want to waste valuable time finding out information.

Hey Ashleigh! Good job getting those tests in! That's a start! It's also important for you to get at least 1 test after the PMPS too. A lot of cats go lower at night so it's important that you get at least a "before bed" test to make sure she's not going too low before you call it a night.

I think you could increase her dose to 2.25. Do you have syringes with half unit marks?

If you need some help setting up your "Signature" (the information you see under everybody's comments that lets us know the important details about Chanel) I'd be happy to. Just message me!
