Second curve today -- the first following the dosage adjustment to 2u b.i.d. a week ago:
8:30 AM PS, prefeeding 471 (3 oz Friskies Salmon pate style)
1:30 PM, prefeeding 87 (2 oz Friskies Turkey & Giblets Senior)
5:30 PM, prefeeding 202 (ditto)
9:30 PM PS, prefeeding 407 (ditto, plus 2 oz. fresh ground turkey)

Lower numbers, but still not great. I've emailed the numbers to the vet, so I expect there will be some kind of dosing adjustment. Tomorrow morning's shot will be about 2 hours earlier than usual, because I got a temp gig for the day.

Please remind us of the insulin you are using. Also, it is easer for people to interpret your curve if you use the designation like as follows;
AM PS 471 fed 3 oz Friskies salmon pate gave 2 U of ???
+5 87 fed 2 oz Friskies T&G Senior
+9 202 fed same as at +5
+13 PM PS 407 Fed 2 oz fresh ground turkey gave 2 U of ????

Sorry: Using Humulin N, 2u twice a day -- it's in my signature block. I understand better now what you mean about it being "short-acting."

Sorry I missed the N. It looks like you will not be able to up the dose since 87 is approaching going to low. Blaze may also be going lower than 87 since that was at +5 and N typically peaks at about +4. Next time you take in between BGs I suggest a +4 and a +6.
