Blaze's first day on Lantus, switched from Novolin

Good morning!
I posted this in the Lantus forum as well but wanted to make sure someone saw it so I'm posting here too.

Today is Blaze's first day on Lantus, he has been on Novolin for 2 weeks. His AMPS was 342 this morning and I am going to give him 1U. Is it best to test at +3, +6, +9 today? And should I put any snacks in the timed feeder for mid-cycle times? On Novolin, he was getting snacks at +1.5 and +3.5.

Whoo Hoo! The beginning of a new adventure for you and Blaze....one I know you will be very happy with.

Just so you know, on the Lantus forum, because it tends to be the busiest forum, everyone starts a new condo (thread) each day so threads don't get too long and they put a link to the previous day in their new thread so history is easily accessible. You don't have to post everyday and some just post when have news or a question while others post daily.

Going forward the title on your post each day could be "Date, Blaze. AMPS xx, +3 yy" for instance and you just add to the title as the day goes on using the Thread Tools button in the upper right part of the screen. If you have a question stick a ? in the title so folks see it. It works well to ensure folks get help when needed.

Ok Blaze....time to work that juice.
