What a beautiful tribute to Black Kitty! I never got to know your handsome black beauty but he has been a true inspiration to me with my IAA girl. I am truly grateful to you and Black Kitty for sharing your experience and offering the most comprehensive information about IAA. Without the knowledge and guidance you've shared here I hate to think where we would be today. Black Kitty will always be near and dear to our hearts.

What a wonderful tribute to such a special kitty!!

Black Kitty sure was a paper towel terror....or is that tearer? ;)

I have always marveled at his spreadsheet and how quickly he came down the dose ladder.....Gives all of us hope that no matter what, it's still possible!!

So many emotions in such a short video. He was so playful! The tissue and toilet paper made me laugh! He was so proud of his job well done!
So sorry for your loss.

What a great tribute to a kitty so deserving. It made me cry.
I'll never forget when he was going down in dose and then went OTJ. What a huge Party that was!
I'm so glad I got to meet him at the reunion. :bighug:I will never forget him.

Sandy, what a wonderful tribute to Black Kitty and to your love and devotion. The montage captured his personality, every emotion of the FD dance, and the loss for you. Thank you for sharing this with us and for all the knowledge you share. :bighug:

What a wonderful Black Kitty and what a wonderful tribute! Made me cry of course. He was a well loved happy cat---job well done. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope the pain has eased and just the joy and love remain.

Sandy, what an amazing tribute to such a special kitty. :bighug: What a handsome guy. And of course an inspiration to all of us that have or had kitties with high dose conditions.

I loved the action scenes, BK really loved to play. The classic shots of stalking the autofeeder and the shredding made me smile.

I hope that this gives you some comfort it did me when Loki left me.

Norse Legend of the Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

What an amazing tribute to an amazing cat. Definitely brought some tears, but smiles, too. I'll never get tired of the paper towel video, and love the toilet paper shredder!

There is no time table for grief. We all must walk that path on our own, but there will always be friends to help you take the next step and give you a hand up when you stumble.

RIP, Black Kitty. Gone from this plain, but never forgotten

((((Sandy)))) what a lucky Kitty BK was to have landed on your doorstep. The transformation from when you first found him to him getting OTJ, is truly incredible, when I look at that graph, I always wonder how much coffee it took to get through his roller coaster descent down the dosing ladder!!!
A beautiful, poignant tribute to a LL legend.

What an absolutely incredible tribute to BK! I love the way you showed his progression in health from dx to remission and how wonderful he looked and felt. And no tribute video of BK could omit the famous paper tearing. Mike watched the video with me and he said it was like BK saying "I must make the paper smaller".

Thank you for sharing BK, your experience, and this wonderful tribute.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know all of us on here will some day be going through what you have.
I believe we are nothing more then caretakers for our kitties while they are here. They rely on us for everything and in return they give their unconditional love.
My heart goes out to you for you loss. Thank you for being a great caretaker for black kitty and never giving up.
Your tribute was perfect.

What a wonderful, heartfelt tribute to a very special kitty - and a very dedicated bean. The transformation from the beginning to OTJ is extraordinary! And what a gorgeous character... I can't imagine how you must feel, now, but your absolute love for her just shines throughout the video. She was very lucky to have you, and you were very lucky to have her. I am so sorry for your loss... :bighug::bighug:
