Biscuits went to kitty heaven today

It's a sad day. My Biscuits is gone.
I took him in this morning. He was having difficulty breathing. Abdomen very distended. Symptoms were progressing. We decided it was time. It was a difficult decision but I knew it was the right thing to do for him.
He knew he was loved. I had 2 years with him. 2 years of happiness for him.
Thanks again to everyone for all of your support and advice. I'm forever grateful.
 
I am very sorry for the loss of your loving companion, Biscuits. You went over and beyond to care for his acro and diabetes. He was very blessed to be in your family.cat_wings>o
 
I am so so sorry to hear this, what a shock! You were an amazing Mom to Biscuits and really did a great job taking care of him, its just so sad to have a sudden loss. I'm sure it was a difficult decision but You did the most kind thing by not letting him suffer. :bighug::bighug:

It was a hard decision but I just knew it was time. Thanks so much for your encouragement and support!
 
I am deeply sorry for your loss. In my short time on the forum I have seen lots of evidence of the love and care you have given Biscuits, even when it has been difficult, and I'm sure he felt the love most of all.

It's never easy even when you know in your heart its the best thing to do. He's free of any discomfort, pokes etc so you did what a good Momma bean had to do. Big hug to you, he was a very lucky little guy to have you in his life. I will miss your daily posts just as I'll miss Biscuits.

I'm so sad to hear this. I've been following your posts since we have an acrokitty too. They can be so challenging to care for, but the bond is so close... what can I say. You took good care of him. He loved you. Please be kind to yourself during this time. Hugs to you. :bighug:

I'm so sad to read this. In shock really. You have done everything possible and was there when Biscuit needed you most. He knew he was loved and adored. Be free little one, look after mom let her know you are happy and safe. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I'm so sorry for your loss. That is SO hard, but what an amazing Mom you are to make sure he was always given the best care & did not have to suffer in the end. Sending thoughts & prayers your way during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss, such a hard decision to make but you did the right thing for Biscuits. He is pain free now & Bronx will seek Biscuits out when it's his time to cross. There is special place for our tough acrocats over the bridge.

I am so, so sorry for your love and the incredibly difficult decision you had to make.
I did not Biscuits in person, but was imagining him being the sweetest cat, and had affection for him. I'm tearing up while writing this.
