? Big John - need evening dosing advice

He tested 272 pmps - almost hypo today - I hoped to switch to Lantus tomorrow am but maybe tonight would be better???? He is a grazer/nibbler and has not eaten his evening meal yet. Would 1u Lantus be ok to start now?
