I just tested moxie again. This time her bg was 109. She has never read that low before. So I tested her again, right after. The second one read 238. ??? I'm assuming the 238 was correct. That is what she was at yesterday at this time. I wonder why such a big difference?

I use a Relion Confirm, and I have found that, if I don't have a larger blood droplet, it will test lower than it really is. I don't know why this happens, but I have found that you need a bigger droplet than they say if you want an accurate reading. When I get two reading, like you did, that are so far apart that meter variance can't be the issue, I retest a third time and go with the number closest to one of the others.

I tried testing a 3rd time. Moxie was not having it. I got a poke, but not enough blood. I tried rubbing it on her ear where the blood was and I got an error. And it was my last test strip! Going to buy more strips today. I will test before her feeding and insulin this eve.

I don't use the Relion Micro meter but I would suggest you get a new battery for the meter and see if that makes any difference. I have a meter that will not read unless there is enough of a blood sample so I knew that didn't account for the wonky readings I got one day just like yours. The meter had not indicate a low battery but I discovered my meter seems to read high when the battery is close to pooping out. Your meter may not act the same but it's worth a try. Now I keep extra batteries in my testing kit at all times.
