I was wondering since I am very new to this. Tonight, will be my first attempt at a blood draw. If the numbers start to get to a good point, how do I know to adjust his insulin level? The dr just upped his dose to 3 units. But I know this is high amount.

Since he was getting to low 100's on 2 units, I definitely would not increase the dose. In fact, 2 units may be too much insulin.
