I don't know what dose to give! I have updated his libre sensor information in the spreadsheet.

Vet says 2.5u twice a day but I don't know if I should shoot or not. Help!

He has been eating off and on all day. Gave him some higher carb chicken and sweet potato treats about 90 minutes ago.

All of these readings are on the libre. We can manually check if needed. He is due in a half hour.

What does was he on before yesterday? Would it be possible for you to add just the dose info for the last week in the SS? You'd need to add rows for 11/24. Can I help you with that?

I think you want to stay with 2.5U as suggested by Wendy earlier. Could you get a test with the meter at shot time?

What time is it for you and can you monitor if you give the shot? He will most likely bounce from the lower numbers he has seen today, but cats are cats!

Does he have any history of ketones?

It is 12:30am. So we will be asleep, but we have an alarm on the phone if the sensor goes below 55.

Vet has never tested for ketones, so I have no idea.

The Libre can give pretty wonky readings!

Stay with 2.5U even if he is high tomorrow morning. Don't go back up to 3U. Lantus dosing is based on nadirs. How low a dose takes the cat. The highs you see are what we call "bouncing" - his body's reaction to the lower numbers.

It bounced back up just like you said. Will hold firm at 2.5.
