? Bexacat for cat sitter?

Hey everyone,

Seeking input on Bexacat. Is this something that can substituted for vetsulin for just 2-3 days and then back to vetsulin?

Need to go out of town and want to avoid the stress of car ride + insulin + BG. Only issue is, I don't know if the cat sitter would be comfortable giving the injections.

Unfortunately, you can’t use Bexacat if your cat has ever been on insulin.

Thanks for letting me know! That's insane that the vet was still offering it as a consideration for us then. Is this common knowledge?
