I have a newly diagnosed cat who has not started insulin yet. It's been several years since I had a diabetic. At that time, I did not find much enthusiasm among my vets for the oral meds. Has that changed? Is anyone having success with them? If I remember corectly, at least Bexacat is only for cats that have not yet taken insulin. TIA

Not too many people are using either oral medicine. Results seem mixed. Some people who started on oral medicine ended up switching to insulin because blood glucose levels weren't regulated well.
