Best Place For Precision Xtra Ketone Meter And Strips?

Hi Everyone......

Spot is just impossible (in a sweet, feline way - of course). He is like that old childhood story, The Princess and the Pea, where he would feel a pea under a mattress. This means I can't outfox the fox with the urine ketone strips. Any change to catch urine in the litterbox, putting a cup or ladle under him...well, he is on to me.

So I am going to make the investment in a Precision Xtra Ketone Meter. He has no issue with blood testing so this will be easier. Of course I see it on Amazon, etc...but so often I learn great shopping places for such things from those on this forum.

Any updated info on the best place to purchase these items?

Hey Robin, I have the same meter. I got it on Amazon for around 30-35 bucks, I can't quite remember exactly. I found the best place for the strips (because they are pricey) was Universal Drugstore in CA. Maybe you will find cheaper but that was the best price I came up with.

Another great plus of ketone strips is that the ketones show up in the blood immediatly while the urine is a delay up to 1/2 day or so.
