Best Non Toxic Ant Killer?

Need suggestions for non toxic solutions to get rid of an annoying indoor ant problem.

I've used Terro ant baits outdoors and they attract more ants. Plus I am worried the ants that eat the borax will come out and CJ will eat them.

I had the same issue for a few years and tried all the "natural remedies"....didn't work so good but still worth a shot. What did work wonderfully is I ended up hiring an exterminator. I would not let them treat inside my home for the obvious reasons but they treated outside. It was always in the kitchen those little tiny ants would come, some years were worse than others. They now sprays outside the perimeter of my house paying special attention around the kitchen side and I no longer have ants in the house. I recently started using my automatic feeders again and was really worried the food would attract them. I did see a few in the beginning of the season and I called the pest experts they came out and treated again. No ants at all.
I never had to worry about my kitties eating bugs. They have always just stared at them like they were using some kind of Jedi mind trick. o_O
 
I've heard good things with citrus and cinnamon. Haven't gotten to my parents to try them out personally. Ants started being a big issue after I moved out... hmm interesting lol
