Bella 1/1 AMPS 103, +3 95 clot again?

Thank you for all the love :bighug::bighug::bighug: I am so grateful for all of you, and it is helping me so much.
I just got the call I was hoping so much to have. She is doing well, already recovered a bit, the vet said her pads are pinking back and warmer, she is moving better. he said she sure has a personality and is leting them know she is not happy to be there.
Her blood work was normal or almost (some things elevated, amylases and of course glucose, chloride, inflammation factors, but nothing either worrisome or much doifferent from 3 months ago). The lactate and glucose levels were very significantly different in her right leg and slightly in the left, compared to front (lactase 4 times higher in R, 2 times higher in L, and glucose respectively 90 and 40 pts lower), whoch goes with what they were thinking clinically: bilateral clot, worse on the right.
She had Plavix and fluids, Gaba and Bupe, and she is doing a lot better. She ate. Of course :cat:, and that makes me so happy.
I am going to take the kids and go say goodnight in an hour or two, and hoping very hard that we can bring her home tomorrow.
I know it's not very scientifically plausible, but I know all your prayers and vines helped, please keep sending them!

These things happen. It’s nothing you did or didn’t do. I saw this over and over in human waiting rooms, parents of children, children of parents, spouses and partners, all saying “if only” or “I should have” or “shouldn’t have” or “why didn’t I” —and always there’s nothing really—it happens. Bella did really well the last time and it sounds like she was seen early this time, so it’s just time to pray and be patient as you’ve been. You did everything perfectly.
Colleen, thank you.

So glad to see the positive update! Continued healing vines heading your direction. If you don’t mind, please post another update after you’ve visited her. I know I’m envisioning her and will be wondering and hoping for more good news.

I second Sienne’s suggestion to leave behind a dirty T-shirt or other worn item of clothing that has your scent on it to leave with her in her cage. I’ve been known to strip a T-shirt off from under a sweatshirt or even leave behind the pair of socks I was wearing. She might ignore it, or she might curl up on it. Either way, it is familiar to her and I figure it can’t hurt.

Thank you! :bighug:
Thanks for the suggestion to bring a t-shirt, I forgot last time and was sad during the night. I brought her a t-shirt I wore, and I had it around my neck going there. They brought her to a room to spend time with us. She was very tired, you could tell she had some painkillers, but she was back to her normal self, I mean, as far as possible in her state! She was way more alert and even tried to escape. She is still limping but her legs look a lot more normal, less curled under her. The ICU nurse chuckled and told us she loved food. Apparently they gave her baby food and she loved it. She used the litter box and is moving around her cage, and looking for ways to go.
I feel a lot better, although I feel exhausted from the stress today. Thank you all so much again for your kind words and presence.
