Beau is my little miracle kitty. cat_pet_icon

He will be 13 in August, having beaten the 2-5 year prognosis at age 3 when his cardiomyopathy was diagnosed. He has beaten FD as well and his hyper-T is well managed. He is underweight, probably from the hyper-T, but more methamizole drops his T4 below measurable amounts so he is stable and doing very well. His coat is lovely, he plays with the other kitties, his appetite is good.

He never drinks water and no excess peeing, so I don't test him very often, but I thought I should get a test in this morning. He was 84. I am so proud of him party_cat
 
Always nice to hear an update on our Beau. :) I am glad he is still doing so well and continues getting those nice low 'non-diabetic' numbers. :) You are not allowed to come back from the falls Beau!

That's 'cause its in my sig line, silly. But he went OTJ after 2 years on vetsulin just to prove wrong everyone who said it isn't possible. He has a great sense of humor! All I wanted was better numbers. Guess I got 'em, huh?

Now, if he could just teach Jeddie a thing or two.
 
So nice to hear good news on Beau. He gives us hope for all our kitties.
Now it's Jeddie's turn to step up!
