Perhaps this is from the steroid treatment? Beau is doing better after 2 weeks on steroids and 2 weeks on an antibiotic.. the other day he struggled to pee again so vet put him on the antibiotic again for another uti…. But also said to disregard his prior diabetes diagnosis, do not give insulin. I noticed his hunger increasing again and he’s drinking a lot and peeing a lot. I tried to test his BG it’s at a 445 ‍♀️. I’m very confused.

Sorry, without a spreadsheet we can't advise on anything. I've never had one but I'll try and fix you up with someone who can help.
There's nothing in your profile about his past medical history, that would help as well.

Hi! His spread sheet is up till we took him off the insulin and he had 2 separate emergency room visits this month. His blood work was good first round in the icu, they thought it was a neurological issue. 2nd trip after he was peeing blood around the house they said it was a bladder infection. I can copy the paperwork I got if someone would like to look at it. I was told 2x diabetes was a misdiagnosis n not to continue the insulin. Also, I know the steroid he was on would contribute to a higher BG as well as the bladder infection. it’s been such a hard 3 months for us getting him treated without exact answers, I’m not sure what’s right and wrong anymore.

The end of June he wasn’t acting himself, I made an appointment with the vet to check him out. It was 2 weeks out, in the meantime he went to emergency and got blood taken, his BG was high, the follow up with my vet he diagnosed him with diabetes and started him with ProZinc 2 units every other day test urine, depending on the strip result go up 1 unit or down 1 unit, very basic instructions. After a month of that I found this site, and we started testing his BG daily. Which was normally quite low, he wasn’t feeling well took him to emergency again and he was in the icu overnight. No diagnosis besides possible neurological issue. Next day he was urinating blood, took him back, he had a bladder infection. Steroid and antibiotic treatment for 10 days. Sunday, he was peeing very little, called the vet they gave him more antibiotics again for 7 days. He is doing ok, but I noticed him peeing ALOT again anddrinking and eating a lot. So I tested his BG and it was 445. I don’t know if this is a result from the infection/ steroids.. or was it not a misdiagnosis

Can you put in some recent data, like that 445, into the spreadsheet? Maybe take a couple tests to see how the numbers are changing relative to food. Regardless, anything in the 400's is likely too high and needs insulin.
