Good Morning all,
Beast is still insulin free, Yippie, I am starting believe we might just make it to the falls.
She will be getting a curve done at the vet on Friday. It will interesting to see their numbers. Last week when I first started home testing I took her to the vet because I thought my meter was not working properly. The reading from the vet was 122 and on my meter she was 75. That is kind of a big difference. The vet took blood from her vein and tested it with their machine (I don't know what kind they use) they also tested my meter with blood from her vain. I read that most home meters are designed to work with capillary blood and not venous blood so the reading would be off.
Does anyone know if this is true?
