No more Beef Fancy Feast for Beast, her tummy does not tolerate.

Beast is happy this morning and I am happy we are part of this message board. Good information, GREATE people and lots of help. I was faithfully giving Beast 3 units of Lantus 2x daily for over a year until I joined this board and met a wonderful member who was kind enough to show me how to home test. Once home testing started I saw that Beast showed green, green, green. It's scared me at first to not give the shot of insulin I was so accustomed to giving every day. I still freak out and I am still learning but with the help of the amazing people on this board, Beast is on her way.
 
I haven't visited Beast's condo before, but wanted to stop by and cheer you on. Great start this morning. Happy Day 4. :mrgreen:

This board is a great place. I don't know where Furball would be without all the wonderful, helpful people here.
 
Woohoo, Beast! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Amazing how well she's doing! Lots of kitties seem to have trouble with beef. I'm glad you figured it out. :-D

Hi Kim. CONGRATULATIONS ON DAY 4 OF BEAST'S OTJ TRIAL! It's awesome that Beast has gone from 3U BID to her OTJ trial in what seems to be a day or two. Good for you Beast.

You're doing great!! I was the same as you. Giving the shot without even thinking about testing. I had read that wet food was better and had started to transition Hardey off the dry to all wet and just happened to buy a meter one day and decided to test. He was 87 before giving night shot! I shutter to think what may have happened if I had given him that shot and gone to bed.... :sad:

This site and the caring people on it are life savers. I tell everyone I know about the message board just in case they have a sugar baby or have a friend who has one.

Hardey says he is so glad that Beast is doing so well OTJ. Keep it up! He can't wait to meet her at the falls! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT
 
Beast gets no more beef,
it gives her tummy grief!
Already on trial day 4,
looking to make that big score,
10 more days to go,
hope it doesn't pass too slow.
