We went to my Aunt's for Easter most of the day.
Bear's drops had slowed down by 2.75 and I fed him an ounce of LC at each testing & he had food in his timed feeder while we were away.


(I was thinking about an increase tomorrow?)


With not much data for today and his recent large drops by +2 I am uncertain whether to hold or increase to 3.25 units
If he followed yesterday's BG today it is possible he dropped to blue and is again bouncing.
No matter what happened today I am a little concerned with the amount of Red level #'s spotting his SS lately.

If I don't get a response on dose advice since I am so late posting, I will increase since I can closely monitor tomorrow.

I am suspicious that something is going on with Bear's left ear.
He is really laying it flat today when I was rubbing his ears before testing.
In fact when he laid it down I rubbed under his ear where his ear canal is and he started kicking one of his back feet and really tilting his head into my hand.
That ear has always been itchy and the vet has looked in both ears every past visit and they have always been clear.
Bear actually has never really liked me to prick that ear.
He does seem to have allergies at times because I have heard congestion in his nasal cavity when he sleeps and he lightly snores sometimes.
Do you have any suggestions?

I'm just looking at possible variables and changes. :rolleyes:

Sorry, no familiarity with ear issues. Maybe add "itchy ear?" or something like that, to the subject line. I have seen others mention ear issues.
