Summary of Bear's insulin needs.
On 3-02 Bear had a Pancreatitis Flare and his insulin was reduced from 5.25u to 1u in a weeks time because he was barely eating and was vomiting majority of that time, plus his BG was going low.
The ER Vet had told me to reduce his insulin in half if his appetite was still low.
Since this was my first experience with Pancreatitis I had my doubts whether this was needed and I wanted Bear to have as much insulin as he needed because of his past DKA.
By testing frequently it became obvious Bear needed less insulin.
After Bear's appetite was closer to normal his BG started rising and I started increasing his insulin.
It was suggested I increase to the last dose Bear was doing well on but that would have been 5.25 which seemed too much.
So I have steadily been increasing his dose every 6 cycles majority of the time.
We are now up to 3u's and he is having some blue numbers.
Bear is a dramatic bouncer at times but lately his bounces are smaller and he is clearing them quicker.
Bear is also prone to glucose toxicity.
Bear will have been on 3u six cycles tonight.
I need some suggestions.
Should I hold at this dose or raise by .25 tomorrow morning?

I agree with Wendy: you can safely raise the dose to 3.25U.
